1950's Diner Party!

1950's Diner Party ~ Full Party Post
My sweet little girl just had her birthday, and we celebrated in 1950's diner style!

Cake design by Izzy! I crafted every little food from fondant and sugar paste to create a 1950's diner counter top. I made the sign and other edible elements, to match our 50's backdrop.

We had so much fun planning and constructing every detail of this party! Elvis tunes played in the background while we enjoyed burgers, fries and milkshakes!

Diner Food!  Burgers, fries, hotdogs, slaw, milkshakes, and Coca-Cola!

The Decorations...
Diner Check Birthday Banner

Using black foam board and white chalk, Izzy and I created this 1950's counter top backdrop.  This design was a popular 50's counter top.  Vintage soda bottles are a great addition to this 50's party.

I'm all shook up, over these adorable pegs from Jenny of www.craftthatparty.blogspot.com

We used real flooring tiles attached to cardboard for the flooring, real diner stools(someday in my bakery storefront,) and constructed the Izzy's Diner sign from foam board and Christmas lights.

We had so much fun creating all of these unique party elements!
