Star Pie!

Thanksgiving---Pie is the STAR!

~For this pie decoration, I simply rolled out the dough and cut out some small stars, using a fondant star cutter.  Then I finished the edges with a shell molding tool.  ~Very Americana!

~Pie flavor is cherry-apple-raspberry ~ a delicious combo!

Thanksgiving Tablescape

Be Thankful!
   ~A Thanksgiving Tablescape
~A mixture of textures, such as burlap, twine, pine cones and glass, can create a nice combination for a tablescape.

For this tablescape, I used a burlap table runner, a twine place mat, some candles, and a mixture of glass and pinecones.  Filling the wine glasses with pinecones adds an elegant yet rustic touch.

I just love the rustic look when it comes to decorating!
I simply filled this rustic pot with pine cones, berries and a little greenery.
I then poured in a little cinnamon oil for scent.

How I made the burlap table runner...
1)  Cut your burlap in a long rectangle, fitting the desired length for your table.  *Purchasing burlap at craft stores like www.michaels.com , you will find the edges are finished and the perfect width for a table runner.
2)  Cut the ends at the length and begin pulling off strands of the burlap--about 2 inches or more, if desired.

That's it!  Now you have a burlap table runner with fringed edges!
